Our standard size bricks which are suitable for most projects are:

Standard bricks are solid bricks; they are required more than any other type, being wherever reinforcing, services or scaffolding bricks are not required.

O-Bricks have a 4-1/2" (115mm) diameter hole blocked-out in the center of the brick. This brick is laid to create a vertical column every other course as shown in the drawing.

U-Bricks have half of a 4-1/2" (115mm) diameter hole blocked-out from one end of the brick.

Half U-Bricks are rectangular and form with the U-Bricks form a clean vertical core in all corners and beside openings.

Double U-Bricks have half of a 4-1/2" (115mm) diameter hole on two opposite ends of the brick. They are used when two vertical columns are required next to one another.

Scaffold Bricks accept self-supporting scaffolding pipes through the wall horizontally. Click here to learn more.

U-Scaffold Bricks are used where a scaffold pipe is next to a vertical column.

Channel Bricks are used to construct reinforced adobe arches.

Adobe Brick Plastic Molds

Our HDPE 5/8" plastic molds are welded to create a high performance form to make adobe bricks. The adobe material slips off the molds with ease and the molds are light-weight, therefore more bricks can be made in a day with less effort. When finished, the adobe mud simply washes off the molds. These molds will enable you to make thousands of bricks with less effort than any other mold material type. Shipping not included in price.

Architectural Designer's Information Pack

These professionally drawn plans include a sample floor plan and two cross-sections showing details of footings, lintel and arch design, bond-beams, reinforcing, and more. Make Your Own Brick Mold with our Mold Design

Our mold design is useful to construct your own set of steel or aluminum molds. These drawings can be given to a welder or they can be adapted to construct a set of timber frame molds. The three molds form all the necessary bricks you will need for any project in an appropriate ratio of brick types. We will email you the plans in pdf format directly, unless you request otherwise.
